# Glancely

> Glancely is an iOS AI hairstylist app. Upload a photo to get a stylist-grade read of your face, hair, and skin, then preview personalized haircuts, colors, or custom hairstyle references on your own face before booking the salon.

Glancely is built and maintained by Ess X LLC. Free on iOS with a premium subscription for unlimited try-ons. Privacy-first: face photos are never used to train AI, sold, or shared with advertisers. Generated results stay on the user's device unless the user chooses to share or export.

## What Glancely does

- **Glancely Facial Analysis** — a stylist-grade read across three domains, each observation paired with reasoning:
  - *Face*: primary shape (oval, round, square, heart, oblong, diamond) plus a secondary blend when relevant. Includes the proportions stylists work with — forehead, cheekbone, jawline, chin, thirds balance, symmetry.
  - *Hair*: texture, density, thickness, length, plus current color (color family + hex code), and how the hair moves (bounce, flatness, frizz).
  - *Skin*: undertone (the foundation of color matching), tone depth, surface qualities (luminosity, evenness, texture), plus the color directions that flatter the user.
- **Personalized Hairstyle Recommendations** — haircuts and colors built from the user's face shape, hair type, skin undertone, length, density, and coloring. Two profiles never see the same shortlist.
- **AI Try-On** — realistic transformations rendered on the user's own photo from front, side, and three-quarter views. Users can try personalized recommendations, catalog styles, or custom reference images.
- **Custom Reference Upload** — users can upload hairstyle references from Instagram, Pinterest, screenshots, salon galleries, celebrity photos, or inspiration photos and try a similar look on their own face.
- **Hairstyle Catalog** — 1,000+ curated cuts and colors, organized equally for men and women. Cuts include fades, tapers, crops, mullets, bobs, lobs, pixies, shags, wolf cuts, layers, and longer lengths. Colors include blonde, brunette, ombré, balayage, highlights, root touch-ups, and fashion shades.
- **Save, Share, Hand Off** — the analysis stays and can be re-opened anytime. Users can save looks they love, send the locked-in cut to a stylist or barber, or export a share card with their chosen look and color palette.

Free on iOS. The free tier includes Glancely Facial Analysis (face / hair / skin) and a limited number of AI try-ons. Glancely Premium unlocks unlimited try-ons, premium styles, and advanced recommendations with deeper insights. Multiple plan options are offered to suit different budgets.
